The rate is set by the length of the session, not by who is in the room.
The office is in West Los Angeles, next to Santa Monica. Talk sessions can also be by video.
Do you take insurance?
I do not take insurance. However, I provide a monthly superbill, which you can submit to your insurance company for out-of-network reimbursement. Whether your plan pays anything back is up to your plan.
Do you offer a sliding scale?
No. If cost is the deciding factor, a community clinic or your insurance company's list of in-network therapists will get you further than I can. I am glad to point you toward one.
Do you offer longer EMDR sessions?
Yes. EMDR sessions are 75 minutes, and that is the shortest I will do. The deep work tends to start around minute 42 to 50, so those extra 25 minutes can be really helpful in getting to the bottom of what brought you to therapy in the first place. If you have limited time, a very busy schedule, or travel often, we can book a double or triple session, billed as two or three 75-minute sessions.
What's your cancellation policy?
I ask for 24 hours' notice. Anything later than that is charged in full, since the hour is held for you.
Good Faith Estimate
You have the right to a Good Faith Estimate of what your care will cost, in writing, before you schedule. Ask me for one at any time. If a bill comes in at least $400 above the estimate, you can dispute it. There is more at cms.gov/nosurprises.
